Today's situation (whatever that may be) is where we are. At the end of the day, what's done is done!
To enable us to fully grasp this situation, we need a simple model that will help us understand history, how and why we are where we are right now, and - critically - where we intend to go next.
This is where the our first Rule of Engagement, the Dialectic Principle, comes in. This is fully explained in the film on this page (watch it now!).
Put simply, Georg Wilhem Friedrich Hegel's Dialectic Principle is a model for a framework that always starts off a discussion, which can then be used to form an initial basis for positive change.
In 2024, if you listen to the chattering classes and the media, the UK is in a regressive state of affairs every place you look, from the economy to the NHS, and everywhere in between.
The people have lost confidence in politicians (hardly surprising...!) and many will be going to the polls feeling that all is lost.
However, we argue this is actually the best place to be right now. Because you can easily bring in a new broom and sweep things clean if there's a political will - and a will of the people - to do so.
In the face of adversity, being positive is always the best line of attack.
